Playlists Containing: Topless Resuscitation of a girl in cardiac arrest
Fort Collins has decided not to join a national movement to remove indecency crimes for women going topless. The city council voted unanimously Tuesday evening to reject removing a public indecency law that prohibits the display of female breasts. Many other cities, including Denver, New York and Boulder, have removed gender-specific language completely from indecency codes. Supporters of the change said the indecency change wouldn't have led to an explosion of women going topless in public.

An Automated External Defibrillator AED analyses the rhythm of the heart and, if necessary, delivers an electrical shock to help it return to normal. The man is now calling for better understanding of the correct use of AEDs. In a series of posts on Twitter earlier this month, the unnamed Japanese man described the incident, which he says occurred three years ago. He happened upon the scene of a traffic accident in which the driver was not seriously injured, but a female passenger was unconscious and he could not detect a pulse. An AED, which applies an electric shock to a patient suffering cardiac arrest, requires direct contact between the pads and the skin. Any clothing which is in the way must be removed. After the injured parties had been taken to hospital, the man who had administered the AED gave his account of the incident to police. The man was later informed that — thanks to his bravery and quick-thinking, not to mention correct use of the AED — the woman had survived. He also reported that he was offered a certificate of appreciation, which he declined.

After issuing new guidelines in October that, in adults, rapid chest compressions without rescue breathing is the way to go, it threw a lot of weight behind its hands-only campaign, which boasts press releases , catchy YouTube videos , an app , and so on. According to the new guidelines, a bystander should compress the victim's chest times a minute to a depth of about 2 inches to keep blood and oxygen flowing to the brain until help arrives. Stopping for rescue breaths can actually interrupt that vital blood flow. And it's a big deal; of the , people who suffer out-of-hospital cardiac arrests in the U. This past spring, it announced that in a new study , participants who viewed a brief second video on how to perform hands-only CPR were more likely to attempt giving CPR and consequently improve the victim's chance of survival.
